As with Shimano’s 3.3.3. trademark, the dates on this document are very odd. The ‘first use’ date of 1966 looks fictitious - unless the contention was that until 1966 SunTour was always used as two words (Sun Tour). I have a number of models from the 1950s that are branded with some combination of the words Sun and Tour - but this trademark is unequivocally for SunTour as a single word.

Again, as with Shimano’s 3.3.3. trademark, the accurate date in this document may be that for use ‘in commerce’ - indicating that SunTour products were first sold in the US in 1966.
