Spidel was a brand created specifically to offer a top of the line French groupset. However, for some reason they adopted a tacky logo made up of a slightly constipated looking cyclist silhouetted against the majestic outline of La France, all accompanied by an ugly ‘modern’ typeface. The easy sophistication of Campagnolo or Shimano Dura-Ace was conspicuously absent.

Not good.
