This, rather likable, patent was an attempt to blend Cyclo’s history of highly reliable twin cable derailleurs with a cleaned up version of their top-of-the-range Cyclo Benelux Super 60 design. It might well have made for a pretty decent mechanism.

Shimano later developed (and released) something rather similar with their Shimano Archery-W, Shimano Lark-W and the first Shimano Positron designs.
