This web site has an enthusiastic Japanese reader (you know who you are!) who is an admirer of the extremely rare, extremely magnificent, Japanese, mid-1960s Chair parallelogram derailleur. This reader is determined that I should include as many references to this derailleur as possible - even when those references may be a touch spurious.

This advert is one of several that include a very unclear photograph of a bicycle that may, just possibly, be fitted with the aforementioned Chair parallelogram derailleur. It is certainly not immediately obvious that the vague arrangement of poorly resolved blobs in the photo match any other Japanese derailleur of the time. But, as yet, I am unconvinced!
