I think that this image could be the first apearance of Terrot’s famous figure ‘L’Impertinente’ (‘the cheeky girl’). Using her Terrot transmission (see bottom right), with teeth on the chain and rollers on the chainwheel and sprocket (the reverse of todays arrangement) she can sprint away from a speeding locomotive without even ruffling the feathers in her fancy hat.
