DISRAELI GEARS
Taybrook Manufacturing Co.Ltd. was based in Birmingham, England. In 1938 it produced a derailleur that was strikingly similar to the Morgan Helical derailleur - except that it used a drive mechanism more similar to that used by the (also Birmingham-based) Cyclo Gear Company. Taybrook's derailleur was called the 'Victo'.
The address of Taybrook Manufacturing, in Birmingham, was Lancaster Works, Legge Lane. This was also the address of Lemet - a company that I remember manufacturing not particularly good rustless spokes in the 1970s. I do not know whether Taybrook and Lemet were related in any way.
