For the 1936 season, Super Champion produced a leaflets for each of its sponsored teams, featuring their key riders and listing the Super Champion product range. This leaflet is for the Alcyon-Dunlop team, a super-star outfit including Jean Aerts (World Road Race Champion in 1935) and Georges Speicher (World Road Race Champion in 1933).
The Super Champion derailleur range has exploded to include six models, none of which has exactly the same name as any of the 1935 models:
- The Super Champion Utilitaire, listed as a Cadmium plated, steel and aluminium-bronze, fork type, three speed derailleur. I might guess both that this is the same as the 1935 Super Champion Standard and that it has the old chainstay mounted chain tensioning arm.
- The Super Champion Standard Course, listed as another Cadmium plated, steel and aluminium-bronze fork type, three speed derailleur. I might guess that this is a new model for 1936, with a downtube mounted chain tensioning arm.
- The Super Champion Compétition, listed as a chrome plated, aluminium and aluminium-bronze, fork type, three speed derailleur. I might guess that this is also a new model for 1936, with a downtube mounted chain tensioning arm.
- The Super Champion Touriste Standard, listed as a third Cadmium plated, steel and aluminium-bronze fork type, three speed derailleur. My guess would be that this is an updated version of the 1935 Super Champion Touriste, with a downtube mounted chain tensioning arm.
- The Super Champion Touriste Luxe, listed as a chrome plated, steel and aluminium-bronze fork type, three speed derailleur. My guess would be that this is an updated version of the 1935 Super Champion Touriste, with a downtube mounted chain tensioning arm and chrome plating.
- The Super Champion Professionnel, listed as a second chrome plated, aluminium and aluminium-bronze, fork type, three speed derailleur. I might guess that this is a new model for 1936, with both a downtube mounted chain tensioning arm and a chain detensioner mechanism.
