DISRAELI DOCUMENTS
This is a document issued on CD-ROM as part of Shimano’s annual information pack given to their Dealers. I usually picked up a copy of Shimano’s pack at a particularly mobbed desk on the Shimano stand at the Eurobike show in Friedrichshafen. To weed out the over-enthusiatic pre-pubescent German teenagers, you could only get a copy by proffering a business card - although it did not seem to matter whose business card you handed over (and the floors of the halls were thick with business cards). In our own small tribute to the great Jim Rockford, we used to try to obtain an information pack using increasingly unlikely business cards - the winner being a Caucasian bearded male obtaining a pack by handing over a card belonging to one Ms Mimi Chou of Taichung. Mimi, whoever and wherever you are, I apologise for the torrent of spam you undoubtedly received.
The document contains a plethora of ‘exploded views’ of what were, at the time, current and recent Shimano components. For your delectation I have extracted the pages relating to derailleurs that have not been included in previous publictaions.
