- Dig the startlingly modernism of the contents page
- Groove to the hessian-look backgrounds, which take me straight back to about 1972, when one wall in our house was wall-papered in exactly that hessian
- Note that the only mention of Dura-Ace refers to chainsets (page 16).
- Marvel that, as long ago as 1972 Shimano produced a 2 speed automatic hub gear (page 15) and a cable-operated disc brake (page 17). In about 1975 I used exactly this disc brake on a tandem - and lived to tell the tale.
