• The ‘Road Racing’ sequence has a classy continental air - owing more than a passing debt to ‘A Sunday In Hell’. It contains a brief glimpse of a prototype Shimano Dura-Ace Di2.
• My favourite is the ‘SAINT (image)’ segment - a dark, moody, sci-fi, tech-fest featuring some great footage of Mike Hopkins in action - Bladerunner meets The Blair Witch Project
• If you want to see assorted Athertons singing the praises of the Shimano Saint groupset somewhere in Canada, you can check out the ‘Mountain Racing’ sequence.
• If you are having trouble with insomnia, the ‘Trekking Film’ is pure digital Mogadon.
• The technical films contain the priceless advice that you should “.... pay attention to the most important things...”. A line that gains something from being delivered in a thick Dutch accent.
