When I first came across the Sensah SRX it was, by some distance, the most competent Chinese derailleur that I had ever seen. That particular example was all aluminium, 11-speed, included a ratcheting clutch and was nicely finished and detailed. It had an, impact avoiding, ultra-low profile and an original design incorporating a cable roller next to the cable clamp bolt. Even the branding was all in the best possible taste, and the Sensah web site was both comprehensible and had enjoyed the attentions of someone who had attended art college. It was pretty startling.

This example has all of the features listed above, except that the inner cage plate is a very badly painted version of the plate of the lower end Sensah RX. Weird.

One other thing that I would note is that the Sensah SRX suddenly seemed to disappear from the market and was nowhere to be found. It has been suggested to me that this could be something to do with the threat of litigation over intellectual property - but many other Sensah models continued to be available.
