DISRAELI GEARS
The Sachs-Huret Pilot was a strange beast. It was basically a Sachs-Huret Rival (2850-00) but with an 'improved' p-pivot, an all-aluminium pulley cage and significant sideways float in both its pulley wheels. Why the tension pulley had float is anyone's guess.
Note that that, on this silver model, the outer pulley cage plate, under all that lush chrome, is not steel but aluminium. Its a cunning marketing ploy to cleverly disguise the more desirable metal as its cheaper cousin.
