Rue Joanny Panel

This bucolic road to nowhere is the Rue Joanny Panel in Saint-Étienne, France. It celebrates the founder of the innovative Le Chemineau brand of touring bicycles and derailleurs. Frank Berto states that Joanny Panel became particularly celebrated in Saint-Étienne, when a factory employee of his, Benoît Faure, won the independent category of the Tour de France in both 1929 and 1930 riding one of his Le Chemineau bicycles.
