DISRAELI DOCUMENTS
This RPF invoice from 1936 is for a diverse collection of cycle parts.
It is an object that crosses two eras. On the one hand, in 1936, RPF was a manufacturer of machines, including those with derailleur gears, that would have been perfectly recognisable as bikes at the dawn of the new millenium. On the other hand, this invoice with its florid hand writing and over-decorated Victorian style would have looked perfectly contemporary in the dying days of the nineteenth century.
