The Roto Competiiton is a surprisingly coherent and elegant copy of a Campagnolo Nuovo Record. It’s light and tight, it’s strong, it sports a simple, uncluttered look and it even has Campagnolo pulley wheels - which I suspect are original.

Only the tacky cable clamp bolt and nasty cable outer stop betray Roto’s irresistible urge to spoil the ship for a ha’pworth of tar.

Pleasantly pointless.
