I have been told that RBM derailleurs were made by an engineering company of the same name based somewhere in Buenos Aires. I have been been unable to find one scintilla or jot of evidence for this assertion - but that doesn’t mean that it is untrue.

RBM appear to have produced faithful, and reasonably well-engineered, copies of the venerable Huret Eco, possibly as recently as the 1990s.
