DISRAELI DOCUMENTS
This February 1967 Bridgestone advert is for a model running a 15 speed transmission, and using what looks very like a
SunTour Competition Twin (note the double cables) - but fitted with SunTour’s adjustable length pulley cage (see the SunTour Skitter (2nd style) in this collection).
This model also appears to have a quality leather saddle, randonneur handlebars, special touring brake levers, cantilever brakes and natty chromed ends. Note that, at this time, Bridgestone bicycles were designed for the Japanese home market - which clearly demanded highly sophisticated touring bikes. This is very unlikely to be a bike designed for US consumer.
