In April 1965 Shimano were advertising a derailleur called the Shimano Sportsman. When it appeared n the market it hadt changed its name to just be branded Shimano 3.3.3., and now by February 1966 it has become the Shimano Archery.

The derailleur in the drawing has a '3.3.3.' logo on the b-knuckle. I have never seen this on a physical derailleur carrying the Archery name.

Thankfully, our happy derailleur using couple, despite all these changes, are still sporting their tartan shirts.
