This is a fairly bland advert except for two details:
It reports that Paul de Vivie, the patron saint of derailleurs, took part in the 1928 Journée Chemineau using a Chemineau L'Izoard mechanism. This is interesting because other photos from this period show him using a Le Cyclo derailleur and, at this point, Cyclo and Chemineau were sworn enemies.
The advert is placed by 'Eug. Penel'. Eugène Penel was the retail agent for Chemineau products in Saint-Étienne.
