The pavé and mud of the Paris-Roubaix can have a devastating effect on your chain and derailleur - but I doubt that the result can ever be as bizarre as is depicted here. What is it about graphic artists and bicycle transmissions?

Here the chainstays have acquired a weird bend, a single sprocket is mounted outside the drop out, the top chain run appears to feed into the hub axle and the lower chain run has disappeared entirely. Someone needs to go back to drawing classes.
