The design shown here is the Super Champion Professional - a model with the chain tension arm mounted on the downtube and a cable operated chain de-tensioner. The Super Champion Professional is shown in the 1938 Super Champion catalogue - but is absent from the 1937 version so I had assumed it was launched in 1938. However the date of this application is 1935.
