For this twin pulley long arm touring derailleur Charvin re-activated the ‘Le Lautaret’ name that they had used for their twin pulley design a decade earlier.

It was a simple but rather effective looking design with radically off-set pulley wheels - and it definitely made it into production, as I have seen a number of examples.
