I am a little hazy about the history of ‘The Cyclist’. Like ‘The Bicycle’, it was a British cycling magazine that possibly appeared in 1936. It was published by George Newnes Ltd, the famous publisher of The Strand Magazine and Country Life.

I have never seen an edition with a date later than December 1937, so I do not know how long it lasted - but its passing may have been swift.
