Super-Leader was the brand of Établissement Charles Gautherot, based in Dijon, France.

I know of three basic Super-Leader derailleur models:

  • A fork-type derailleur called 'Le Super-Leader', patented in 1935.
  • A twin pulley touring model patented in 1941 called the 'Super-Leader Route'.
  • A single pulley racing model, patented in 1950, called the 'Super-Leader Competition'.

All three have fairly basic underlying designs, but are notably well finished and constructed.
