Spark Engineering Pvt. Ltd is a company established in 1989 in Ghaziabad, which is nominally in Uttar Pradesh, India, but is actually a suburb of New Delhi.

Spark Engineering also produce transmission parts, notably freewheels and derailleurs. The Spark Engineering website claims that 85% of their production is exported to European manufacturers.

Spark Engineering has, traditionally used the Starlit brand. However, in recent years, Spark Engineering has also collected classic French brands. It markets freewheels, under the Nervar brand and, in 2019, took out a trademark on the Simplex name. I have a derailleur in this collection that is clearly a direct copy of a late Simplex model, but is crudely branded 'Spark'.
