Over the years I have been repeatedly told about this or that ‘Russian’ derailleur. On closer inspection these tantalising items have always turned out to be Czech or Ukrainian or East German or Polish - but never actually Russian.

But I still have one derailleur in this collection about which the best information that I have is that it is ‘Russian’ - so Russia gets a page on this web site after all!
