Any colour as long as it’s not silver, black or grey. I have included the colour white here as it is sufficiently unusual (and gloriously impractical).

Stand-out features are:

The inexplicable 1960’s Japanese love of red.
The Italian love of bling.
The dare-devil mountain biker’s love of ‘take-it-to-the-limit’ bright colours.
The uncomfortable patriotism of those French and American scoundrels.
