Czech trademark registrations provide a handy and comprehensive history of the names and addresses of the companies involved. The Favorit company appears to haver been established in 1954, before being re-integrated into ESKA from 1959 until 1990 (the end of the communist period).

There is a certain charm to the English translations of the names of the product groups covered; bicycle components, especially wheel forks, switches of chain, double converters and handle-bar arcs. ‘Switches of chain’ are, of course, derailleurs.
