Capo Exakt (3rd style)

Capo Exakt (3rd style) main image

The Capo Exakt was a well made copy of a 1950s Simplex Tour de France, sharing the Simplex's basic geometry and rather sub-optimal pulley cage arrangement. However, the detailed design of both pivots was considerably better than that used by Simplex and the mechanical finish and tolerances were impressive throughout.

I think that this is an late example, with a shaped main plate, one toothed pulley wheel, clear branding and proper chrome plating. It also has a distinctively shaped pulley cage, albeit one that still functions in the manner of a Simplex Tour de France.
