I am rather uncertain about the exact model name of this derailleur. It shares most features with the Icarus - but it is notably different from my other, early, Icarus versions. I think that, towards the end of its product life, the Icarus was downgraded from having an aluminium inner parallelogram plate to having a steel one. But I have never seen any Campagnolo model pictured with this exact treatment at the cable adjuster. So my best, but not particularly good, guess is that this is a very late version of an Icarus.
Some relevant details are:
- There is no spring adjuster on the p-pivot.
- There is a, rather badly chromed, flat, cable adjuster threaded into a brass (?) mount, of a rather unusual design.
- It has a single parallelogram spring using ~2.0mm wire.
- Disappointingly, the inner parallelogram plate is a steel pressing.
- The cable is clamped using an Allen nut.
- The pulley wheels are plain bearing items in black.
- The inner pulley cage plate is steel and has a spoke deflector.
