Bijou derailleurs

Le Bijou was the derailleur brand of Fernand Barbier of Besançon, France.

Fernand Barbier holds a number of derailleur patents dating from 1924 to 1958. I have, however, only seen one model in the flesh - the example in this collection- a single pulley design of some sophistication that is described in a patent dated 1937.
