I think that this patent describes the final incarnation of the Falcon/AutoBike/LandRider design for a centrifugal, automated, derailleur. I can't comment on the text (because I cannot read Chinese), but the drawings first appeared in a Taiwanese patent applied for by 'Lv-Yi Cheng' in May 1997. This US patent was applied for by 'David Chang' in June 1998, and makes absolutely no reference to the Taiwanese patent.

I do not think this, more refined, design ever made it to market.
