BGA was funded in 1900 and produced their BGA Velectrik derailleur in 1935, so I was surprised to find that they had renewed their trademark as recently as 1976. One might guess that they went out of business sometime between 1976 and 1986 - when they would have had to renew it again, but did not do so.
