Despite its bravura and bluster about the Cyclo Benelux Super 60, this catalogue exudes a sense of melancholy. It was produced in the 1960s but has the dreary look of post war austerity. Whereas in the 1950s (the real time of austerity) the Cyclo Gear Company was bursting with confidence and producing catalogues with style and colour, this is a lacklustre monochrome production. The writing was on the wall for the British derailleur - and Cyclo evidently knew it.
