Some lovely drawings of one of my least favourite derailleurs. I once had one of these weighty little numbers on a tandem - and the combination of an extra long cable and dreadful chain gap was something best forgotten.

Note that the derailleur depicted has a cable adjuster. It also has an arrangement at the b-pivot that appears to allow the use of a hanger (as shown) or a direct mount onto a brazed on hanger. This is not how the b-pivot was handled on the production versions.
