This rather confusing set of instructions were for Simplex's penultimate range of derailleurs, including the Simplex Alpha, Simplex S002, Simplex SX650, Simplex Vallée, Simplex Forêt and Simplex Fun Bike.

These particular instructions were supplied with a Simplex Fun Bike. Despite its name this was probably Simplex's top of the range model - a chunkily constructed item with extensive Teflon coating to shed that pesky mud. Unfortunately the effect was spoiled by lurid pink detailing and an idiotic model name. But then, this was the age of the fluorescent coloured shell-suit.
