Schwinn GT200

Schwinn GT200 derailleur main image

Like the Schwinn Sprint, the Schwinn GT200 is a Huret Allvit branded up for Schwinn. The GT200 is based on a slightly later version of the Allvit than the Sprint, but the differences are nothing to get over excited about - toothed pulley wheels and a bigger outer cable stop adjuster.

By 1972 this was a very passé design and, from their experience with Shimano, Schwinn was starting to notice.

This example is the version with the short pulley cage - and at 43mm it is surely short.
