I think I was given this catalogue at Eurobike 2008. I remember being shown the microSHIFT range by a saleswoman who was bursting with pride - particularly keen to demonstrate the quality and sophistication of the Arsis dual-control lever and carbon-wrapped rear derailleur. I would guess that she compared her new components to Shimano Ultegra about two dozen times during our conversation - and possibly even mentioned Shimano Dura-Ace once or twice.

It made an impression on me - I had long appreciated that the 'Taiwanese are coming' - with brands like Tektro in disc brakes and FSA in cranks, but this was one of the first times that I had experienced a real, heart-felt, enthusiasm for genuinely top-end product from a Taiwanese derailleur manufacturer.
