Simplex soon ‘improved’ their rather arty parallelogram fork derailleur (the Super Simplex) by making it a basic, single pivot, rotating fork - and renaming it the Simplex Selection.

Lucien Juy liked to keep things simple, and most of all to keep things ‘affordable’. Did anyone mention the word ‘cheap’?
