Campagnolo - Anaheim 1990

This catalogue was produced for the Interbike trade show held in Anaheim in late 1990. It is dated September 1990.

It shows a similar product range to that in the earlier June 1990 Campagnolo catalogue, but with some surprising differences - given that their dates are only 3 months apart. In terms of rear derailleurs, a summary might be:

Record and C-Record were unchanged.
Croce d'Aune was unchanged.
Chorus got 8-speeds and the conventional slant-parallelogram design borrowed from Record. It was available in polished or graphite finishes. The old 7-speed Chorus with the adjustable slant parallelogram was discontinued.
Athena was unchanged.
There was no longer any mention of medium or long cage Xenon derailleurs on the tandem pages. I can only assume that, if they ever existed, they had been discontinued.

Euclid was unchanged.
Centaur was unchanged
The short cage Olympus derailleur was no longer offered.
Themis was introduced as a low-end mountain bike group. The derailleur had steel parallelogram and pulley cage plates with plastic detailing. It was offered in medium or long cage.

I am still unsure what the real differences were between Croce d'Aune and Chorus rear derailleurs and between Euclid and Centaur rear derailleurs.
