The Zeus Alfa 72 Especial is a faithful copy of a 1964 Campagnolo Valentino GS (or Super - is this the same thing?). Campagnolo had ditched this design in favour of the Valentino Extra in 1968 - but that does not seem to have diminished Zeus’ enthusiasm for it - even in 1972.

The Alfa 72 Especial is strong, nicely finished and terrifyingly dull.
