Terrot poster - 1902?

This the final version of the image of Terrot’s famous figure ‘L’Impertinente’ (‘the cheeky girl’) sprinting away from a speeding locomotive using her patented Terrot chain and sprockets. It was designed by Francisco Tamagno who went on to use the character in a number of other designs for Terrot.

The strap line at the bottom celebrates the fact that Terrot were the only company to be awarded a gold medal in the Touring Club de France (TCF) technical trials of 1902.
