TV Guide 1978 - Sears advert

TV Guide 1978 - Sears advert main image

In the sequence of Sears adverts in this collection, they started in 1968 by speccing Shimano, switched in 1975 to using the US made (but hugely inferior) Excel Dynamic Syncromesh, and by 1978 they were back in the Shimano fold - lured back by the charms of the Shimano Positron II (DG-200).

I like the warning that “dates may vary in Alaska and Hawaii”. That’s that pesky space-time continuum for you.
