This is the letter that Simplex sent out to French cycle dealers announcing the launch of the Prestige derailleurs. It claims, amongst many other things, that:

1. •Anquetil and Stablinsky used the plastic Prestige derailleurs to win the Yellow and Green jerseys in the 1962 Tour de France.
   

2. •Du Pont’s Delrin plastic is usable over a temperature range from -40°C to +150°C.
