The, short-lived, MARS product line was cobbled together from a combination of Sachs-Huret designs for the derailleurs and Maillard design for the hubs - appropriate because I believe that the company was based in the old Huret factory at Incheville and its Director-General was Phillippe Maillard.
Curiously the derailleurs have relatively short cages.
