Gambato Gran Sport

The mid 1970’s Gambato Gran Sport is a faithful copy of the 1953 Campagnolo Gran Sport - it just got lost somewhere for a couple of decades.


Note the details; the sprung pivot is on the axis of the pulley wheels, so this is definitely not a copy of the more modern 1963 Campagnolo Record, the steel pulley wheels have ball bearing races and do not have teeth, the knuckles and even the pulley cage plates are bronze...


It’s as if the 1960’s never happened in Argentina - perhaps they didn’t.
