This track was released on the intriguingly named EP ‘Faire du Velo en Asie’. The track name (a French pun ?!?) might translate as ‘Wanderlust, of derailleur’’ - whatever that may imply.
I also am mildly concerned that Bernold may be something of an admirer of the work of H. P. Lovecraft - the word ‘Arkham’ keeps cropping up associated with Bernold’s work and the word ‘Delgoda’ has resonances with ‘of the Goths’. It is, however, hard to detect any influence of Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden in Bernold’s rather cerebral music.
One can only speculate on what H. P. Lovecraft would have made of cycling in Asia - now that would have been a horror story.
You can listen to Bernold’s work on SoundCloud - and even download it. Go fill your iPod with rear mech related rythms.
